Learn how to make a fun spinner ring at this one-day beginner workshop. No previous experience is needed, and you’ll be guided through each step, from cutting and shaping the silver to the final polish.
Using sheet silver, you’ll first make a silver base ring with your choice of texture. You can then make and fit up to two ‘spinner’ bands, again with a choice of textures, so each ring is truly unique. Finally, the main ring is flared to lock the spinner bands in place while still letting them spin and move freely. Perfect for those fidgeters out there!
Along the way you’ll pick up core jewellery-making skills, including sawing, filing, soldering, texturing and finishing, which make a good starting point for future projects.
The workshop fee includes silver for your ring (gold is optional at an additional cost, so get in touch if you’d like to use gold), plus tea, coffee and biscuits. Please bring your own lunch. Bring a friend for optimum fun!
